wheels and tyres advice needed

I have just bought some 15" wheels for my mk1 golf and would like to know what size tyres to fit and if anyone has any recomendations on make of tyres

depending on how wide your rims are go for "RainSport" or Rallye 550

(& push the Union Flag button if you you don't sprechen de Deutsch.

I'd go for 195 50 15's if price was an issue or 195 45 15's if not (as I think the slightly lower profile looks better - and is better clearance wise on lowered cars)
If you go on mytyres.co.uk you'll be able to read tyre tests for the various models they sell.

Went for 195.50.15 rainsports got them back today,the BBS wheels refurbed and fitted with the tyres……thanks superworm goooooood call.

They definitely look the dog's doobs (mutz nutz)…I always park my Audi with the toes turned out …. poseur that I can be at times.

DOn't forget to go easy on 'em for a hundred miles or so…they (like all others) should be "run-in" fairly gently….no ear'olin d'y'ear ??
