Rolling the arches?? Or shaving the arches??

I'm wondering if anyone has any knowledge or thoughts on the following:

taking the car to a garage that will roll my front and rear arches for a sum?

Or

Using an angle grinder, remove the nasty lip under the arch and then smooth and finish?? for free!

Has anyone attempted this before?

What do we think?  :?

if you are going to do the free out of the 2 just make sure after you have finshed put loads of under seal to protect the bear metal because it will start to rust very quick and costing you more in the long run.if your not up too the job pay a pro and then no worrys at all......................... sorted

Yeh good thinking!

What i'm concerned about is if I get rid of that lip via an angle grinder I might lose some important strength in the arch???

I'm trying to work out if I can cut most of the lip off and leave say 5 mm and then just tidy it up/ smooth it???

What do we think?
