Brakes again, 4 outlet Master cylinder
I've upgraded the servo and MC to MK2 16v items from my original setup because of the ABF conversion. Originally the lines were as below, i have a brake switch on the pedal so there are no in line switches to worry about
I have now got a Mk2 master cylinder as pictured below. How do i connect the lines to this one? I've read about connecting them so that the diagonal corners are on a t-piece so if one outlet fails you still have some brakes.
How do i connect mine with 4 lines and 4 outlets? Both fronts on the left as you look at the engine from the front and the rears on the right?

Circuit 1:
Front left Master Cylinder outlet = Front O/S wheel
Front right Master Cylinder outlet = Rear N/S wheel
Circuit 2:
Rear left Master Cylinder outlet = Front N/S wheel
Rear right Master Cylinder outlet = Rear O/S wheel
Hope that was what you were asking

Connect systems up diagonally, so looking at your master cylinder from the front of the car it would be something like this……………
Circuit 1:
Front left Master Cylinder outlet = Front O/S wheel
Front right Master Cylinder outlet = Rear N/S wheel
Circuit 2:
Rear left Master Cylinder outlet = Front N/S wheel
Rear right Master Cylinder outlet = Rear O/S wheel
Hope that was what you were asking
Yeah that's what i meant, so as below then? I wasn't sure how the insides of the cylinder were plumbed :redfaced:

Yep that's the way, the opposing ports on the master cylinder are the same circuit

So I have a 4port 16v MC, two hyrdalic nline brake switches i dont want to wire. Can I use the above config with 2 x T pieces to the brake sensors?
or should i plug the brake sensors directly in to the MC ports and have 2 ports spilt going to the brakes?
Thanks guys!

I have seen many a folk use "t's" to plumb on the switches, and I have seen others move the brake light switch to the pedals using a Cabriolet switch so they only had to plumb one of them.
Any decent write up/pics on the bits needed and how to achieve pls sir ? if its just pedal then wiring only and no pipework right?
