ATS Cups.. 13" too small? Pic request?

hi guys, not sure if you all do pic requests here.. but as titled i'm thinking of getting hold of some 13" ATS Cups. Originally taken off some kind of Polo.. I'm wondering if 13" is too small?

Has anyone ever tried this? If so, will they actually fit.. and does it look any good? Or would 14/15s be better? their goin on a 83 Mk1 Driver (will be lowered of course!)

a fair few people run 13's i believe and they will fit as long as you have standard brakes. they can work but i think they look a bit on the small side most the time. heres some pics of some 13" classics:

Personally not a fan, seem to be fairly popular though. Probably wouldn't look as bad on a MK1 as it does on later models.

hehe yeah i ended up getting some BBS RA's instead for my Polo 6N which will eventually go on the Mk1

but i do like the cups, maybe next time and some 14" to play it safe!

Loads of people run 13"s, as long as you don't mind the car scraping every bump in the road it's all good  8)

According to the seller of them on CP they are mate, but I never bothereed going to see them in the end.. went for some with some good rubber on them already!

i do really like the look of them though and might go for some needing a refurb if a cheap set crop up!

ManicGTI what size are yours.. 14/15? Also what size rubber are they wearing?

Mine are 14", 195x45x14 Uniroyal rainsports.

13" cups were made, but I think they were all no wider then 5.5 inchs (or none of the ones I have seen were )
