2l 16v engine fitment and rear suspension

Hi guys

If I fit a 2l 16v engine and gearbox to my car can I use the drive shafts or are they too long. If they are to long is it by much as I have the chance to buy a complete front end with engine, gearbox, drive shafts, hubs and the full brake setup….

Also has anyone fitted independent rear suspension and binned the rear axle….

Fit the cups & shafts from your existing gearbox or fit your gearbox to the 2.0L engine

or use 100mm late cabby/rocco 1.8 shafts
