Pics of debumpered cabriolets please!

Im thinking of taking the clipper kit off my cabby and either running no bumpers, arches and skirts, or having some gti bumpers on.

Just have no idea what a cabby will look like completely debumpered (and maybe lowered). Don't want to risk taking my kit off just yet, just incase I don't like it. Also hve no idea where I would get all the beading stuff from!!

hehe, so any pics would be appreciated :)

they do look quite good, a friend de-bumpered his. you do have to find some where to reposition the indicators i think. Just do it, you won't regret it!  :D

Sorry i don't have any or the rear. The indicators are Halfords rear fog lights with orange bulbs in. We made a little ali plate to screw on to hold it in the front bumper mount position.

mini old skool of course - 1310, lightened and balanced bottom end, fast road cam, MG head, Megajolt + EDIS, stripped out interior

I just cable tied the indicator units behind the small holes next to where the bumper irons fit.
number plate is just stuck on for now.

Any more pictures? My Dad needs bumpers and arch trims for his white '83 GTi cab as they're painted body colour (badly!), but he's decided to just leave them off instead and I'm not too sure… 8O The front looks good but I think the back needs something else. Rolled rear pan perhaps? :dontknow:
