G71 RTO

Hi guys just wandered if the buyer who bought Gerty ever endned up on here and just wandered how she was, there was lots of additonal work done to her prior to sale.....

A chap called David, near to Bedford now owns it.

I (www.yesterdayscars.co.uk) bought it off the last owner, Rob. We replaced the roof and gave it a general 'refresh' - David has owned it since last November and loves it! Here's a couple of pics from the for sale ad and one with the proud new owner!;

Hi Rob, that's me who now owns G71 RTO!
She's in safe hands.

Glad to hear Gerty is in Safe hands and with another forum member. Would love to know the work carried out.

On top of the great work Andy did on her:

Alloy wheels fully refurbished
Lowered on 30mm springs
Custom made stainless steel exhaust from manifold by Longlife Exhausts in Watford 
Bumper and wing mirror scuffs repainted 
New radiator, radiator fan and hoses replaced with black silicone 
New alternator (the old one fell apart halfway through France last year!)
New heater fan
Sump and rocker cover gaskets replaced
Speakers replaced with retro fit Alpine and re wired back to head unit. 

That's all I can currently remember. 
The photo in the picture is on the French / Swiss border last summer. She loved the Alpine roads!
