Peter Best Insurance = Good

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd post on here and let you know that I have just insured my mk1 GTI 16v with all mods declared (2ltr 16v, exhaust, suspension and g60 brakes) for £199 including £15 legal cover. 3000 miles limited mileage and garaged with Peter Best. 

I thought this was pretty good seeing as Adrian Flux were quoting £700 and wasted and hour of my life in doing so (although the quote without mods was £136!)

They were pretty efficient and it was nice to deal with a company that calculated the numbers themselves rather than other brokers, makes it a lot quicker.

Ahhh Just rang them, they wouldn't insure me because i'm 23, with a mk1 1.8t….!

I`m with peter best too..£132 iirc..easy as ABC..and very easy to deal with over the phone.
