I'm with AXA on both my cars. Sportline is €275 per year. No milage limit. Breakdown cover included. Were able to mirror my no claims bonus. Also I avail of this option which is to suspend the insurance from oct to feb (basically winter months) generally I get a rebate/credit towards next years insurance. This year I had €100 in credit.

Lancasters now want £296.00 ….. :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:
And as for Premium Choice they cannot be bothered to ring me back and there web site qoute system doesn't work.
been waiting since first thing monday morn for a call, as they promised, so I have called them back twice and they still have not returned the call, they clearly don't want my business, I bet I won't get any thing back from them this side of easter too.
And the winner is ……….Heritage £140.00 includes track day cover, agreed value, salvage rights 30 days European cover ETC.

that defo is WOW!!!!!
how are you getting these prices????
These are pretty much all going to be Classic policies, mate.
There are some things to be aware of on a classic policy…
1, Car normally has to be at least 15 years old
2, Driver normally has to be 25+
3, YOU DO NOT EARN NO CLAIMS BONUS - If you have any no claims, you have to use them on a regular policy. If you insure your car on a classic policy and dont use a regular policy for two years, you will lose you NCB.
4, You can agree a limited milage - the lower the miles, the cheaper the policy.
5, Some companies will not insure on a classic policy if the car is not at least on a driveway, some may insist on it being garaged overnight.
6, you can have an "Agreed Value". if anything happens, you don't get "Market value", you get your agreed amount - worth it on a Mk1, as the likes of Admiral will probably offer you £200 for it in the event of a total loss!
You won't see these companies if you search on the likes of Confused.com - you need to phone them direct.
Hope that helps!

WE me and wife have 5 cars and in the last few years insurance has been ok,we have a 59 plate Mondeo, a 60plate motorhome, a 51 plate MGF the Golf cab which is a 40k miles and like new and a Ford Capri I bought new in 1984.
Last year I paid MGF £189, Golf agreed £103.50,New motorhome home last Sept value £35K £258 and Mondeo £242.
The Mondeo was due for renewal 4 May and renewal £371 but quote fron Aviva now £225,the Golf as said above £271 it seems insurance co's are really trying it on all they say is insurance has gone up but ringing around you get better quotes.
I had 3 policies all with the same company and I had hoped to insure the other cars and house But you get nothing for loyaty.
So later this afternoon its back on phone getting quotes.
