insurance help needed asap

hi im 18 and im stil in a proviosional licence and i wana bring my car to the meet next weekend (18th) and im strugglein to find surance short term the best iv done so far is for 1 month and its ?380  :cry:  as you might have gatherd its a litttle steep to say the least and truth be known i only want to use it for 1 day but iv had a goood fone round and not managed to find anything less than a month


any help would be appreciated as i need to get this sorted asap

Insurance at your age is a total nightmare, I wouldn't waste the money on a months policy, put it towards a full year so you can get some no claims built up.
One good thing these days is the fact you can get loads of quotes off the net, which saves being in queues on the phone etc etc.

you could look into gettting the car insured as second car on someone elses policy for a week. ive dput a 2nd car on mine a couple of times like when my husband bought his new car I insured it on mine for week while he sorted out the best quote for his. it only cost about 15 quid. but dont know about you not having a licence!
