Footman James: Your experiences

Looking to go with them as they have offered to cover my golf for £220 (1000 miles) £300 (3000 miles) compared to £650 with everyone else!

[The milage is enough as it will be garaged for 75% of the year]

What are peoples experiences with them? Esp when claiming?

Who are the underwriters? Who do they use for breakdown cover?

Thanks!

i have used them for 3 years

never claimed so i wouldn't know, the underwritters varies depending who is cheapest for your needs

i have broken down with them and received an excellent service, responed within 40mins. thats from phone call to pick up. as to who they use, it is whoever is closes to your position

i have just got my renew throught 2 golfs for 3000miles £246 so i'm really pleased. both agreed value of £2500

used them for the first year my cabby was insured but never had to claim or broke down.

Next 2 years however peter best were much better on price (bristol postcode!) so Peter Best might be worth a call as well

I pay just over £100 for my 1992 cabby , £3500 agreed valuation and 3K mileage allowancwe per year

Keep an eye in the regionakl section as we are working at getting the Bristol and southwest club following together

Cheers

Rich

Was using for last 3years until this years renewal - was just over double :(

Had two bumps in my time, one non fault and one fault - got paid out for both cash in liue and was hassle free both occasions so really cant knock em on service

Now with classicline who were allot better pricewise - just hope the service when poop hits the fan is as good!
