Cheap insurance quote - thank you :)

Hello All, i thought i would share my insurance goodness with you all.

First of all im 27 and live in leamington spa, i have a 1988 mk1 golf gti cabby 1.8 8v. the car has been lowered on coilovers and i have a full exhaust system and a cat1 hornet alarm. a cd player and have polished le castelet style 14" alloys.

for the last 2 years i have been insured with Footman james. i paid £260 last year with a £3000 agreed valuation. i recieve my renewal and they wont insure me due to being lowered. ridiculas, i have a feeling they will lose quite a few customers with that.

anyway a quick search on here yesterday led me to Peter best. before i called them i spent an hour on the phone with adrian flux to be told £450 haha with a £200 excess .

so i call peter best and instantly had a lovely cheerful lady on the phone. took me through the whole quote within about 20 ish mins. i told her all the mods etc and said i wanted an agreed valuation of £3000 and limited to 3000 miles a year. she came back with £173 .

absolute bargain. all i have to do know is ring on the day the insurance starts to give the milleage of the car and i need to send 6 pics. 1 pic of each side of the car an interior shot and an engine bay picture and also send the certificate for the cat 1 alarm. very happy indeed so i would highly recommend speaking with them before you go and renew

         

Try Bishops callway, they were cheaper than Peter Best  for me, although I am with Peter Best.
