What size speakers

Hello I have a 1988 gti convertible could someone tell me what size speakers I will need

4X6 for the front speaker pods, and 3.5 for the rears.

Hi,
be prepared to "modify" the steel holding brackets for the rears because the 3.5 doesn't quite fit and sits proud. Done them this week with the help of a Dremel!
