Weighted gear rod

Hi,

I wanted to put a weighted gear rod into my MK1 Gti.

The weighted rod seem half the size of original pin rod. I put it in anyway, but could'nt select any gears!

Am I missing a piece of the puzzle?

No, can't spain that one…shorter and gets all the gears….

You can cut the ends off the weighted rod, then affix the rod to your correct rod with a jubilee clamp.
