VDO gauges

Id like to have the three centre console gauges and have kindly been given one (oil temp upto 150c). Where can i get oil pressure and volts gauges from please? Heritage is one place but anywhere else decent?

try ebay, when people list they typically have all three gauges and the centre console that the gauges fit in for sale. Normally a few on at a time here in USA......

eBay is your best bet,  many of the ones fitted in Golfs now are Audi items, and have a different look to the correct ones used by VW. Make sure you get the correct rated pressure sender for the gauge you buy, either 5 or 10 bar.
You may be as well to buy new gauges as the prices people sell for on eBay are pretty much the same!
These ones depicted in the install thread are Audi versions

my VDO Oil pressure gauge is 2 3/16 from bezel to bezel on the outside across the gauge face.
