Attaching Plastic Arches with no screws

Hi guys new to the forum just acquired a MK1 lhasa green gti with 20V T in it.
Following a bodywork renovation it had new wings, rear arches etc.
I want to attach the plastic arches without drilling arches etc, could I use silicon?
Does anyone have a tried and tested method?
Cheers

You could use a PUR adhesive sealant, but likely it will fail eventually. I used stainless screws on my car, easier and more permanent than adhesive. You could use a combination of both, so put say three screws in, one each end and one in the middle, sealer the rest...

Tiger seal is used to stick a lot of plastic trim to car.
You can get it from lots of places so search online and lots of info etc on it.

I would use some sort of screws so if you want to remove the trim at a later date to clean and waxoily the arches it's a lot easier.

I would not use silicone as it usually fails after a year or so.
