Seat Belt Bolts

Post

What size do I need?!

Evening all.

Slowly getting there with the Golf,  after 4 weeks of ownership it's now running and sounds healthy which is great. I'll get a build thread started for those who might be interested, and to remind me what I've done so far when it all seems too much!

This weekends problem has been the driver side seat belt! The previous owner had racing harnesses in the front so they came out last week. I ordered the missing bolts however the middle bolt (that holds the actual seat belt mechanism in place) is the wrong size - I had to guess so ordered a few different ironically but nothing fits  - I thought it was M11(1.25) however that doesn't fit and M12 is too large.

Does anyone either know what I'm looking for size wise or have one they'd be willing to sell!?

Thanks all.

Jack.

Check the etka for the pn, then see if a site has that part number and they may list the size.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

I needed some bolts when fitting rear seat belts in my 1978 Mk1 Scirocco (Bolt holes there but VW did not fit rear seat belts) and I found a Mk4 Golf in the scrap yard and used the bolts from the front seat belts in the Golf…

Wouldn't be the first time you've saved me with bolts!

Just the one, the passenger side is all intact and I managed to get a top one, bottom one was already in place so just the one middle bolt for the housing that I need
