Running Rich and cutting out when cold??

All,

Started having a few issues recently, she has always ran quite rich so not sure this is going to be the issue however…

she will start first time no issues…..

Issue is that when cold, if I try to give her any real power she just dies and struggles to start again esp into 2nd gear, leave her 20-30 seconds and give throttle a bit when starting an she will start up again and give me no more issues.

If im really really really tentative from cold she may try to die but ill manage just about to keep her going, then when warm she will be ok.

Any ideas?

ive just replaced the crappy cheap plugs with NGK so plugs wernt the issue. Pump sounds like its priming fine when turning ignition on.

Carb or fuel injection?

injection, leak on the fuel enrichment pipe to one way vacuum valve, but didn't think that would be too much of a prob but gonna sort that and see if it helps
