I need some help in finding a recommended specialist to repair my roof on my Mk1 GTI cabriolet.
It leaks from the top corner which is like Chinese water torture when I am driving and when I'm not driving I have to put a bucket to catch most of the water.
The roof doesn't always seem to line up properly when I put it back up so might be a combo of seals and misalignment.
I don't want my interior to rot with all the water.
I'm based in Essex and would prefer a recommendation of someone who knows what they are doing to get my baby water tight again.
Any help is massively appreciated!
Thanks!!

There is some adjustment on the handle to make it tighter but be warned…. If to hard to latch the roof down the handle can brake and they are £62 ish each for new repo ones from Classic VW or ebay have 2nd hand ones for £70
