1989 Clipper carburettor
I'm a new member and this is my first post.
I'm trying to restart a project I started many years ago but abandoned for various reasons. I have a 1989 Clipper (cabriolet) 1.8 and has a carburettor rather than fuel injection. When I bought the car itwas running but it needed the cylinder head gasket replaced, which we did. The car would not start again. There was a strange buzz coming from the distributor so I replaced it but it made no difference, the new distributor buzzed the same as the old one.
Several years later I was told that while the head gasket was being done, someone messed about with the relays. I have looks at various pictures and manuals of fuse boxes but they seem to vary.
So my hope is that someone with the same model coul please share a picture of your fuse box showing the relays and hopefully I can get my project off the ground and back on the road.
Thanks in advance
I'll try and attach a picture of my own fuse box

(it has good pictures).
Dizzy's buzz if the cap isn't clipped on correctly….
I would check the firing order of the wires as well as the 0 Time . (static timing to make sure it is ready to fire…
Cabby-info in the ignition section has pictures of static timing in the menu drop down on the right.
