Rear fog light.

Post

Currently having some body work repairs on my golf including a new rear valance. Just wondered if it was possible for me to incorporate the rear fog light into the rear lights rather than having the separate fog light mounted under the bumper. Not sure if it was possible on the smaller rear lights and I'm not able to look myself right now since it's at the body shop.

Hi Neko
I have a seriers 1Driver, and just like yours, it has the seperate rear fog light which isn't the most beautiful of things! but it is correct for the period (I guess the UK government made all cars have these fitted on W reg cars-onwards, and that the manufacturers had to retro fit where neccessary until the later models which had these designed in) so though I am not sure if what your asking about is feasable, and I personally would like to do what your wanting to do, I doubt there is a way  it can be done (?) in the early light cluisters. If there is let me know!
Your GLS looks good:wub:Marcus.

I think I've seen the fog light moved to 1 of the reversing lights? It would need to be the drives side.

Have a search on cabriolets as they also have the smaller lights.
