Rear bumper bar

Is the the metal bumper bar (and bracketry) on the rear of a 1986 cabriolet the same as one from a hatchback? It's not a Clipper…

I replaced the front metal bumper bar on my Mk1 Golf cabriolet with a standard Mk1 Golf bumper; just swapped over the plastic cover.
Pretty certain the rear was the same too.
