ottenger fuel issue

Mk1 ottenger gti fuel information /help

Hi  I think I have the wiring sorted now and

I finally got a pressure gauge to check the fuel  system on this ottenger  .

The symptoms are car starts runs dies ,this can be done continuously . I have a fuel pressure gauge hooked up and with the relay bridged and the  pump running tap open the pressure is only 10 psi which I am sure is to low  . With the tap shut it rises to 70 psi , once the car is started  the pressure drops away . Is there a way of adjusting this .
I checked the power supply to the wur as described in Haynes it is ok and the resistance is correct between the terminals .

I did a fuel delivery test and from the return line at the metering head it delivers 800ml in 30 seconds .

I am guessing the wur is faulty but could do with some expert guidance .

Thanks in advance

Jonathan

Hi, wur must give aprox. 50 - 55 psi. pressure when engine reaches operating temperature.
I haved same problem, power supply and wur resistantance was ok, but the warm pressure was too low.
I dissambled it and saw that little pin was dropped out from its place.
