Oil temperatur sender

I'm about to fit a new set of VDO gauges to my Golf, I previously had the Audi 80 set with red illumination and 170° oil temp gauge. I now have a set with the 150° gauge and I'm looking for a sender for it. I know it should be the white one and I've found a part number for the white one as 049 919 563A but everyone lists it as a 180° sender. The one I currently have is a blue one. I've asked VWH but they haven't replied. Can anyone advise where I could get one please? Thanks.
