Diameter and length for supply line
My MK1 GTI 8V DX Tintop has been giving me loads of grief since lockdown in 2020. It stopped running and refused to restart. I changed two fuel metering heads and still no luck. I discovered today that fuel is leaking from the flexible supply line that I bought from Crazy Quiff. This is the third line I bought from him since 2006 and it's failed again. I really can't afford to spend another £100+ for another line that will fail in a couple of years. Does anyone know what size diameter copper pipe I need - I believe it's 8mm and the length I need?
I found a guy selling a ready made set on Ebay for £69.00
But wondered if I can make my own set cheaper?

Buy yourself a decent quality pipe bender that does 3/16 & 5/16 and you'll make a much nicer job shaping your lines

I have the 8mm copper flared end fittings on the crazy quiff pipes.
I really don't want to spend over £200 to replace both lines.
Does anyone use Goodrigde pipes? Or can I get them made?
The ends appear to be female brake unions on an 8mm pipe?
