Hoody

Bought a clipper last week,can anybody tell me how to lock it in when fully open

Is it an electric hood or manual?

Electrics don't 'lock' open the force of the rams holds them in place.

The hood bag stops the roof from billowing out when going over about 50mph

Electric when collapsed as mention the Rams keep it down.

Manual have locks that engage when you press down on the hing at the rear seat quarters.

The Top boot covers the opened top to keep dust and debris off of it and in a marginally installed hood, keeps it from "billowing"  I like Parachuting out the rear and slowing you down

Just a piece of general information for those who might not be aware of this.

If you drive your Cabby with the top down in Germany by law you have to have the hood cover fitted.
But not in Austria.

Not sure about other EU countries but I've not had a problem (yet) in Italy, Slovakia or Slovenia!
