Ive just had a quick look in the box of the Hella rad ive just bought, and there is a plastic bung with Do Not Open on it where the rad fan temperature sensor should go…….stupid question maybe but do i just remove it?… last rad, and others ive looked at have all been open and ready to thread the temp switch straight on….

part no`s say it should fit, states the DX engine…..before i attempt to remove, this is the correct rad and i am right to remove the plastic cover for switch fitting?

Hella is usually top stuff, so it should be a lot stronger than your non genuine rad.
