So you changed the Dimmer out only to find that it didn't resolve the issue….
The issues that I have seen over the years (dependant on year of Cabriolet).
The 90's had a fuse earlier ones tended to be like a early British Leyland where the Wires protected the fuse.
I would say Take the cluster out (clocks). Beef up the connections and add a direct ground to pin 2.
Make sure that you have B+ on the Gray Blue wire to pin 2 Brown, if that is there, then your bulbs are bad. It isn't unusual for them all to go out at the same time.

Order or acquire 3 Bulbs just change them while you are checking for 12V from pin 14 (black) to pin 2 ground (brown), and 12v from the Gray/blue wire (pin1 usually)…..to pin 2(brown) or earth.
If all your other gauge lights work, it's the bulbs.
Now if the fuse is blown, then you have a short to ground on the Gray/blue wire, and I have seen that toast every other wire it touches……
What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?
They all start with GOOD Grounds.
