Cabrio folding rear seat release handle

The pull release handle is missing from my rear seat,
does anyone have a neat fix for this?

If you are talking about the lock in the rear boot, or the side strap.

For the side strap I took one of the bands that hold the Vacuum Canisters (egg crate) and used it.

I gelded my bunny and removed them with a 2" Check valve off a Dodge Caravan. So I had a few straps laying about.  Even the Straps that hold the jack in place can be re-tasked….

For the pull knob on the rear boot I would find a nut that fit the screw shaft and look for a knob that fit from a electrical supply as with the nut you have the thread diameter and thread pitch.

I used a handle for a battery on eBay. Used the bracket it comes with to make a loop that went around the seat bracket. It's just visible from the seat … just
