bolt size - engine/gearbox cover plate thingy

Post

Hi all,

Does anyone know what size the 2 bolts that are used to secure the lower part of the metal cover plate that sits between the engine and gearbox?
It bolts on to the flywheel seal enf plate, then you fit the box, there are then 2 small bolts that go through the plate in to the gearbox - down near the sump.
Can't find them on the online ETKA things. They are definately not M6, and I'm not sure they are M8 (although the plate may not be perfectly aligned). M7 seems like a really odd size though….
Anyone confirm?

TIA,

J

I've got a gearbox here and there  are two holes one either side of the drive flange that a 7mm bolt fits nicely.

Is this what you are talking about? M7 x 12.

Must be the ones.
Oddly in the diagram it looks like they go into the block and not into the gearbox (as they do).
Thanks though, I'll source some M7's!
