B pillar outer trim

Hi all. Can anyone give me an idea on how to take the B pillar outer trim on my cabby?

It fits under the "B" pillar seals, and there is a 2 way sticky tape under it usually.  You have to remove the "B" pillar seal to get to the edges.

Removing the "B" Pillar seal is trickier as you have to take off the rear quarter panel. to get to the window rail.

If you are removing it to paint, then the seal removal is warranted.  If you want to "Polish it a wee bit" then you can do that on the car.  

Start with 1000 grit wet/dry and water, work up to 3000 grit….wet/dry, and then a plastic polish or clear coat polish.



 They will become black mirrors.

Just be sure to mask off the paint at the bottom edge.

Yes think I'm taking them off completely as one of them is bubbling and scabby.
