Arghh i cant get my seats to slide

It does look like the carpets a bit high at the back (i will thin underlay out) as I can see slight run marks but surely that can be causing it to pretty much not move at all

I usually clean out the rails with a rag and Brake-cleaner, then apply a thin coat of water resistant axle grease(boat trailers) to the length of the rail.
Same for the Front glide, I apply a little grease to it and the rail… if the lower rail is rusty or pitted on the lip that the glide runs on I smooth that with some Crocus cloth, wipe clean then add the grease.
Carpet usually isn't the issue it is getting the rails clean and slightly grease.
As I stated the really cheap glides aren't as smooth as the oem . (think 4quid) set from Ebay in China, versus the 8-14 quid set. I bought cheap once, and when I scooted the seat the front one flew out.
