Anybody used these before??

Thinking about an enginge conversion had a quick look online and found these just seeing if there any good???

Well all I can say is that at least one member had a very serious issue with them a few years ago. It ended up with threatening behavior from them and they were banned from this club.

Maybe Dano Hairyarse or 36thcrazyfist amongst others might want to comment but I strongly recommend that you stay well away from them! 🤔

If fact we discourage even mentioning their name as it can be found by search engines! 😉 👍🏼

Well as I'm in Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹 so it's a stuff call for me but you're in luck because our Chairman Si 36thcrazyfist does live now in Manchester as do other members.

1.3 and not sure what to put in it yet @Raul

There a guide on here to engine conversions, it's proberly a good idea to know what engine you want to put in the car.
The 1.3 car will need the engine mounts cut off the car and moved to fit in a bigger engine or you could find a 1.3 super charged engine out of a polo if you did not want to cut up the car?
1.8 turbo is a popular conversion but it does need at lot of fabrication to get it fitted to a non fuel injected car.
If you want low down torque and good fuel economy turbo Diesel engine can fit.

I'm there at the moment…. keep staring at the small block mount in my 1.1…… pondering whether to cut it off.

Nah you really don't!

1400 DOHC 16v AFH engine is the way.

144bhp from mine and still retains the stock engine mounts.  

All standard engine with and exhaust and some bike carbs
