Found it….

Your personal timezone can be set in your 'Your Account' . For some reason it defaults to GMT +10 hours.

This page has some screwy black formatting at the moment, but if you scroll down you will see the timezone option. Change to GMT +1, or wait til the weekend and set just GMT!!
