Sticker locations

Mine's on the hatch window…. right at the bottom in the middle.

On th passenger side above the tax disc, Personally I don't like stickers inmy window, But this is a very good cause. On the Cabby if you put it in the back window you cant see it when the hood is down :roll:

might put the other one on the rear screen.. in a few years I could cover all the windows  :twisted:

In the middle just under the rear view mirror mount....does not obscure vision there

Mine is the same as prowler's just in front of the rear view mirror, was thinking of putting the other (spare) sticker on the mk3, would this be really sad or a good idea?

That would almost be like "Mt other car in a Mk1".  :wink:  :mrgreen:

Yeah but when its on the rear window people following you can see you're in the club. Sometimes when I'm in traffic people rubber neck over their steering wheel to try and read what the sticker says…. makes me laugh

Can't beat the feeling of driving in my pride and irritation, looking up to the top R/H corner and smiling.

…I also have 'www.vwgolfmk1.org.uk' across the boot lid in black, in the centre above the lock,……and in white half way up the rear side windows….I'm told that I am a very sad person…..

Rear window along with "Golf+ its about VW's not checked trousers"

Helps other people read when they are behind me holding the traffic up!!!

Just fitted my new sticker above the tax disc. Seems to be the most appropriate place on a cabby.

oh i was just about to ask how did you all get these, but that was probably from paying as a member.

I have a 'Kins'. Just waiting for someone to be distracted by it and end up in my boot!!

Well… ops:  Instead of sticking a sticker on my car, I
 had a set of number plates made with the club logo on the left and the web address along the bottom! Wish I knew how to get photo's on here!  

Like Gold Mk1, mines on the drivers side rear window - can be seen with top up or down but doesn't get in my line of sight

That's a brilliant idea  :y: wouldn't mind a set like that myself as my plates have 'colindale' along the bottom edge and look battered!

Re pics - try this:
the way i did it was to join photobucket
www.photobucket.com
its free!!!!!
then upload your photos, by following the online prompts.
then when you go to input one in a post…………
(have your photobucket account open in another window)

Back in the Mk1 site, create ba new post & press the "img" tab top right then copy and paste the url from photobucket of the photo you want to input, then press the url tab again
which should have a star after it.
if you preview your message before you submit then you can check whether it worked!!!

It may sound a PITA, but after you set up your account with photobucket it's pretty easy.
