Can i tax my car? today? the mot run's out 20th and the tax runs out on the 31st. :dontknow:

Unsure - I know you'd not be able to if you're insurance ran out on 20th, it needs to be valid on the 1st day of the new tax. I'd suggest reading up on it on DVLA website, www.dvla.gov.uk .

Insurance isn't the issue though - its whether the MoT is okay.

i don't think you can. your car requires an mot and insurance that is valid on the day the vehicle road licence comes into use.

I think its just that he wants to tax it, but the MoT runs out soon. You can MoT it a month before its due to run out and it will be tagged on to the end of the existing MoT.
