Belive the wolfsburg crest was on most two spoke steering wheels that were fitted to the smaller engined cars.

My old 78 1100N had one  :D

AFAIK VW only produced a specific "Wolfsburg edition" for MK 2s

If Its Loud and Noisy , I'll take its picture

Wolfsburg is the town where the VW factory stands that was rescued by British major ivan hurst just after the war in 1945, he continued beetle production and saved the vw marque from dissapearing!! the wolfsburg crest was used on nearly all early vw`s but as said some were badged "wolfsburg edition" for limited run cars, mainly the G60`s and fire and ice edition mk2`s they have also made "Hannover Edition" camper vans etc, although vw also has factorys elsewhere in Germany, Brussels in Belgium were golf Rallyes were built, and Osnabruck the place all Karmann VW`s hail from. they never seem to do any "specials" from these factory though   but then they are all special regardless were they are built 8)

Iv got them on mine bud, i think however the rear mudgaurds are a little rarer, if they are original, mine have the white logo on them. i was offered quite a generous ammount of one of my fellow dubbers for the pair, i declined of course! im not too sure, someone else will tell you how common they are :D

Great video!  Too much mk5 though.  Not enough mk1!

The bit at the beginning with mks 1-4 - it looked as though they were going to have a race.  Would have been good to see.

A bit of Top Gear footage in there to
