If you hit the "back" link at the bottom ,and then choose this one http://tanetane92.web.infoseek.co.jp/20050211oam.html there are some european "victims" near the end, including a Lupo, Mk3 Golf estate, Passat estate, Corrado with "hinge-forward" doors, and at the very bottom, a Jaguar.

All I can say is "different strokes for different folks" - and I nearly *had* a stroke looking at some of that…

PS: Showed Kins' original link to a mate here in the office, and he commented "Why didn't they just drive into a few lamposts - it would be cheaper, and the car would end up looking just as good!"

How long before UK Chavs start doing this to their Corsas?!!

OMG - just spotted this thread.

I hope these have been 'photoshopped' for a laugh.

Some nice subtle spoilers there. B&Q Tokyo must have sold out of MDF by now……..

I'm guessing they don't really go in for speed humps in Japan then as a rule   :eh:

Judging by the quality of some of this dinner table sized front chin spoilers and pop riveted arches I'm guessing some of those didn't exactly break the piggy bank

ex '83 Mk1 Golf GTi Campaign owner and missing it already!

I like the way you can see the actual cars body under the blocky wheel arches - nearly wet my pants looking at these

Yep - I'm with you on that one. Rear spoiler is downforce-tastic

Also like the front mounted oil coolers with pipework routed through one of the headlights on some of the others. Neat.

Jap cars are bad taste anyway - full stop. Only far-east car I have any time for is the MX5. Modern midget/spitfire is something the euro manufacturers should have twigged first !

Some of the side skirts are that wide you must have to open the door and take a running dive in order to get in!
