As my friend said with ebay, its all about lazyness!
If you want a part you have to get off your backside, into your car and drive to your nearest Vw garage or GSF,etc
Then you mite have to order it,go back to collect and what have you,
but with ebay, a couple of clicks its bought, paid and sent to your door!
perfect eh?!

Someone suggested a members-only feature could be a comprehensive parts/price list of VW parts from the dealers….it would save anyone making rash purchases over eBay like this.

I wasn't going to link to the item, I'm still waiting it to arrive and receive positive feedback for that! I am wondering whether I should have kept it now…..

Unfortunately, the guy has made so many spelling mistakes when typing in the ad that anyone searching for one, won't find his. The weird thing is though, that my car's appeared in the ad! Maybe he saw how much mine went for (?87) and decided to unpeel his too???

I'm pretty sure posting a link to the misspelled auction that would otherwise have received no hits on a website dedicated to VW Golfs won't improve your chances of doing the above.
Were I less enamoured by the constant stream of "GOOD" advice you dispense on the Tech sections of this website I'd be inclined to refer you to the title of this thread.
Were I not alerted to your advice to other users and minded to spend my time correcting it - I'd probably not have felt the need to make this post.
