Garages and Specialists

There is a Mk1 GTI for sale on ebay that i would prefer a specialist to do an appraisal on (for a fee), does anyone know who offers this service, the car is situated in Hitchin.

I personally don't know of anyone but wouldn't an AA or RAC Inspection help?

Apart from that I'd put my money on the expertise of a well seasoned and experienced Mk1 owner any day of the week against a 'Professional' to be honest with you.

We've got people here who've owned Mk1's upwards of 25 years and more! 😉

I've said many times over the years that this club has more knowledge and experience when it comes to Mk1 than Volkswagen themselves.  👍🏼
