Located in Berkshire - can Travel!
So I have decided to get my MK1 GTI restored by a specialist. I of course contacted Crazyquiff But they currently have an 18 month to 2 year waiting list - no doubt a sign of the quality work they produce. So I have started looking around for an alternative specialist, I am based in Berkshire but of course can travel a bit further afield.
so far I have found Deutsch Doktors, does anyone have any experience with them? I haven't really found anywhere else similar, has anyone get any recommendatio
The car is a Series 1 GT| so I want to find somewhere that knows their way around them.

From what I could tell he specializes in classics and kit-cars , one-man-band kind of place with no website or advertising just word of mouth, I heard of him through a guy that had his Mini done there.
he had a row of customers engines he was doing up and a XR3I recommissioning going on while I was there so he is a busy guy I think- I had to wait 4 weeks for a slot.
