Golf Specialists in an around Kent

I have just bought a great little Mk1 GTi Cabriolet, has had some fair engine mods.

I want to find a reputable mechanic/specialist centre to "Tune it" and fix the idle/tickover as this is uneven. It has Kent Cams and an Audi throttle and a 2.0l gti engine. Plus would 'Vernier Pulleys' help ?

Can anyone suggest anyone good.
