EuroCarParts - whats the quality like?

Bit desperate tomorrow to get hold of an expansion tank for mine as it is starting to leak badly now.

First choice is GSF, but they only have one in stock at my local, so backup is EuroCarParts (if its in stock). Price is about the same.

Anyone car to comment on the quality or anyone bought the Mk1 expansion tank from them (the one with the sensor included)?

ecp supply parts that are of the same quality as gsf and in all the years i have been fitting parts you will always get a bad batch of parts from any supplier at one time or another as they all buy from the same sources somewhere down the line

I've never had a problem with ECP, actually probably less so than with GSF. The website for ECP is a bit easier to use than GSF and the description of parts is usually better and also tells you who the manufacturer of the parts are. Delivery has always been swift for me.

GSF have sent out the wrong bits a couple of times and some cheaper parts havent lasted very long, but thats to be expected from and parts shop so I'm not complaining really!

Euro Car Parts (ECP) and German & Swedish (GSF) are pretty much similar to each other really. Been using both of them for years with few problems. Avoid MK1 wings though from both of these. They never fit right and you should always go for genuine VAG if you can.
