Engine conversion near Dartford?

Hello ladies and gents.

In short, I started a conversion from 1.8 8v to 2.0 ABF, probably about 8 years ago. May be a bit longer. Still not done.
So I've come to the conclusion that I have to either sell the little lady or get some one else to finish it, as quite frankly, it's just not happening with me.
I have 99% of the parts.
Been away from the scene for a while so would appreciate recommendations.

Hi , can anyone recommend a VW mechanic in Manchester area who would trust to replace a fuel tank for my Mk 1 sportline, my tank his bits from my filler pipe and want to cut my losses and just replace it.
