Just picked up a MK2 TD lump, with gearbox and all engine bay wiring from the MK2. I should be okay getting the lump into the car, it's just the wiring that may be a bit confusing haha!
Is there any 'how to' wiring guides, or anything that I can read up on before I start the conversion to give me a head start
Thanks, Travis

if you're fitting the TD to a diesel mk1, I can't see the need for any wiring. There's only the glowplugs and the solenoid on the pump to power. The exhaust downpipe will be a different story.
If you're fitting the TD to a petrol car, you'll need ignition to the solenoid on the pump and power via a relay and a timer to the plugs.
I did this with a glowplug heater timer from a Peugeot 405 on a Bedford van, if this is any help.
