van colours

Hi
 Just got myself a MK1 van to go with my tin top and GLI, my next project. However I know very little about vans.. does anyone know the colours they came in and what size engine did they have in? To be honest it is a shell which is good a blank canvas as they say. Any info would be great

I've know vans to be 1.6diesels and also 1.3 petrols sorry tho cant help with the colours. Have a look through the brochures in the gallery
