Fuel tank protector plate

Evening

I'm looking for a very good fuel tank protector plate for my Campaign restoration. Mine is a bit rotten in places and very pitted so won't readily paint up well without major surgery and any bead/sand blasting would shred it I guess.

Would prefer to try and source a new "old stock" but probably this would be rarer then hens teeth.

Any help or offers of a really good used one much appreciated.

Yes - mine is not brilliant. It is useable but looks really tatty as I can't get a good surface to paint - it's that rough and crusty, plus a couple of the brackets that clip round the fuel tank edge have rotted away.

What  have you got ? Any pics at all ?

Thanks

Rob

Thanks for the updates and help

It's a bit better than mine, can't get them "as new" I guess.

How much would you want for it, and where are you ?

I'll have to sort carriage out with you as I'm in East Yorkshire.
