Brake upgrade

Hi I’ve had my gti cabriolet quartet for over 15 years but been off the road for 6 years. I really want it back on the road this summer but one of its many problems are the woefull brakes, does anyone have any parts for a256 mm brake upgrade. thanks

TRW used to make a replacement carrier for the 16V Scirocco under part no. BDA145. Not cheap. Autodoc still list them.

There's the calipers. It seems to be the carriers that are the pain to find
