Vw heritage are expensive at the moment…

Same style here for less money, stroll down to see it.

Or you can get the individual foam style cover which I think looks way better.

Great thanks all.

I've been in contact with dreadnoughtcustoms already and will go with them then.

I was hoping to get something original (See picture) but dreadnought is probably a better product.
Had a mouse nest in the engine bay when I saved the Rivage 3 years ago and looks like they had used this as nesting material.

Could I use both dreadnought (now ordered) and an original one at the same time?

Yes why not…the dreadnought sticks on the triangle sections and the oem clips over it.. not sure what you're trying to gain … as even a fresh engine golf sounds like a bag of spanners.  And there's no need to insulated the engine.

Does it press it to the reinforcement areas or just hang? I've got 7 mk1,mk2 mk2 roccos sat on drive only 1 actually has a liner and that's mk2 golf with pads from tom at dreadnought

Original is just clipped on using the metal bar clips on the reinforced bars.
The dreadnought press on to the bonnet in between the reinforcements.

I ordered the dreadnought already thinking that I couldn't get an original anymore.

I'm trying to keep everything original, so that why I asked if I could use both. Seems a waste not to use the dreadnought now.
