Hi all

I am currently trying ot get a mk1 golf number plate bracket made up in stainless, pretty sure crazy quiff does one,

Have had a sample through so i shall put it to you guys

Wold you rather an exact standard original copy but in stainless or ive been sent one of these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MK1-CADDY-GOLF-JETTA-STAINLESS-STEEL-POLISHED-ADJUSTABLE-NUMBERPLATE-BRACKET-VW-/141382505309?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20eb0dd35d but its really short so mainly i guess would be for short plates, but it does have brackets meaning you can change the angle

So what do mk1 golf owners really want?

we currently list

Exact replica for me, depending on price. Not sure who would pay £40 for the heritage one!?

If I was buying Anna I'd want as near to standard

Thanks for the input all, i suspected that may be the case but wanted feedback from you mk1 owners to be sure.

The one we currently have we get from someone else that has it made hence the high price and wanting to make our own to get costs and prices down.

Would you rather the standard one in black as original or stainless that i guess would give you the option to paint/powdercoat it black.

Option may not be a bad idea then you cover all bases with standard and modded. For me it would be black to look standard though. It's unlikely to rust again like the originals given the little use it would get.

I bought that exact one because it was stainless and quite cheap! i hunted for a long time for a more standard looking one but settled for that on in your link. To be honest I'm happy with it, you don't really see it behind the number plate, i heat shrinked black on to the supporting legs that you can see so you couldn't see the stainless. not quite sure why you would want to adjust it tho O_o

Hi All

No ida on adjusting the plate bracket, dont think you would need too at all

We have now had them made as a plain black bracket, having them made ourselves has bought the price down a bit too,

The more we get made in a batch the more the price will come down, we started with a smaller batch to see how they go
